We all know that in the past we are using the traditional way to teach our pupils but as of now, 21st century teachers are all using the modern one. Although many of the teachers now are using the traditional way of teaching modern technologies are one of the contributors of the learning nowadays. Educational Technology is very important in teaching as of now because I learned in my subject MS6 which is Educational Technology that the internet is the most powerful weapon of the 21st century teachers. Why? Because if you have internet you can do search anything that you want to know. If you don’t know about something you can learn it through internet. EdTech is not just an educational technology it is also a strategy that the future can use to get the attention of the learners because we all know that the pupils in this generation are enjoying video presentations, music, singing, dancing and many more moving videos. It is more helpful for the pupils because they are very active when you present to them some educational videos that are related to your topic and they can easily learn about it just because they are enjoying learning. My classmate ask us as a student, what is your life without internet? and some of us said that it’s okay but almost of us said that without internet in our life nowadays is very hard. Because all of our assignment and projects is from the browser, all the contents that we are putting in our power point presentations is base from the internet. If we don’t understand the lectures of our prof we go to youtube for deeper understanding about the topic. Some of our requirements are going to pass online so our life without internet is very hard because we used to it. We are not the type of students that going to library to get the answers for our assignment. We want now instant that’s why educational technology is very helpful to us for many purposes. We can’t deny that it can helps us in many ways. And in this EdTech the teacher is just a facilitator of learning and let the pupils discovered their talents and abilities in their own. These technologies is very in demand in the students that’s why almost of the students are know how to operate or use these technologies. And we teachers, easily teach them because they are familiar of these technologies. Improvement of performance is the main objective of this EdTech. Whatever we learned through internet or social media it is the contribution of EdTech. These are some of the essence of educational technologies.
